You only need your RECO license to conduct real estate transactions.
Membership in the Toronto Real Estate Board (TREB) or any other board is not necessary.
Everything that you use from TREB Membership is available at realtor.ca.
Your RECO License allows you to sell all Real Estate Types INCLUDING MLS LISTINGS.
- TREB Membership: If you have already paid your TREB dues for 2024, you can continue to use your TREB access until the end of this year. Afterward, you can decide whether to renew your TREB membership for 2025.
- Maintaining TREB Access: When you park your RECO License, nothing changes with your TREB MLS access. Your access and password remain the same. The only change to the TREB system is the updating of the brokerage name.
